The concept of sustainability means ensuring that actions are taken before, during and after the process to reduce environmental impacts, enhance economic viability and provide a good quality of life for current and future generations. Our sustainability strategy is based on a firm commitment to always act ethically and transparently, with safety in our actions and respect for people and the environment.

More Sustainable World

Investing in green developments demonstrates concern for the world. According to the International Labor Organization, the sustainable real estate construction sector is expected to generate more than 6.5 million jobs by 2030. Brazil is already among the five countries that invest in green construction in the world. Thus, the growing concern for environmental preservation and sustainability has changed the way of thinking about developments. Open Sea has the three pillars of sustainability in its DNA, focusing on environmental, social and economic responsibility. The company is committed to acting in favor of the environment and seeks to carry out actions aimed at sustainability within its processes.

PGA - Environmental Management Plan

All projects have an Environmental Management Plan (EPM), which addresses all environmental aspects, with the aim of minimizing the impacts of the implementation process and the operation of the projects. The EMP includes environmental measures and programs such as waste management, effluents, noise, environmental awareness and training, which are implemented and monitored to ensure improved performance, prevention and environmental protection.

Environmental Licensing

It is worth noting that all works are only started after the environmental licensing procedure, where environmental studies and management plans appropriate for each project are carried out, becoming a tool that effectively contributes to sustainable development, aiming at the reduction or elimination of environmental risks and impacts.

Renewable Energy

It is worth mentioning that all of our projects use solar energy sources produced by DONDONI SA, in addition to the fact that all of our projects have their own solar energy. The management is appropriate for each project, becoming a tool that effectively contributes to sustainable development, aiming to reduce the use of other types of energy, maintaining a way of having totally clean and sustainable energy.

Waste Management

Dondoni SA has a construction waste management plan for the correct disposal of waste generated at its construction sites. This plan aims to establish guidelines and responsibilities for the correct management and proper disposal of waste, prioritizing the minimization of impacts generated during the production process. In addition, the RDI department has been working on developing processes that enable sustainable constructions with less waste generation.
